The place of implantation is thoroughly examined and, if present – inflammation foci provoked by infection or gingival filling material in the depths of the gums as a result of careless work are removed. Great attention is also paid to chronic foci of infection leading to destabilization of the implant in the bone.
Following the removal of a tooth, the bone tissue, losing blood supply quickly enough, degrades, the patient faces the problem of subsidence of a bone tissue (recession). It is not recommended to postpone the implantation for more than six months, otherwise the critical condition of stabilizing the implant in the bone is violated. In case of recession, we restore the bone with special bone materials for the reconstruction of alveolar bone. We use surgical navigation – individual determination of the shape, size of the implant, three-dimensional calculation of its most advantageous and correct location in the bone.
