DOCTORS

ROOT CANAL TREATMENT IS NECESSARY FOR:

  • Periodontitis – inflammation of the tissues surrounding the tooth root. This condition causes a bone defect near the root, such as a cystic granuloma. The patient experiences sharp pain when biting down.
  • Pulpitis – inflammation of the pulp. This condition most often occurs due to infection entering the root canal.

Cutting-Edge Technologies for Tooth Preservation

Root canal treatment is performed using the Zeiss dental microscope, which ensures precise and high-quality treatment of any complexity:

  • Identifies all anatomical features of the canals, including their shape and direction.
  • Removes all infected tooth tissues without affecting healthy ones.
  • Detects additional canals, which improves the long-term prognosis of the tooth.
  • Accurately fills all elements of the root canals with filling material.

Each step of root canal treatment using a Zeiss dental microscope is accompanied by visualization on a screen and photo documentation.

WHY DO YOU NEED TO TREAT CHANNELS

  • Under the crown of the tooth lies the root, which contains a branched system of canals. These canals are filled with soft connective tissue containing nerve endings, lymphatic vessels, and capillaries (pulp). In cases of deep cavities, the root canals of the tooth can become infected quite quickly. In such cases, immediate treatment is required to save the tooth.
  • Root canal treatment at Professor Vesova’s Clinic is a highly precise procedure performed using a Zeiss microscope. The treatment is carried out by a highly qualified and experienced endodontist.
  • The endodontist thoroughly cleans the walls of the tooth root, which are almost invisible to the naked eye.
  • This is a key difference from traditional root canal treatment without a microscope, where the canal is treated literally “blindly”, without considering its specific shape. This often leads to: Canal damage, Faster infection spread, Tooth loss.
  • The goal of root canal treatment is to remove infected tissue and fill the canal space with a special filling material (hot gutta-percha).
  • The endodontists at Vesova’s Clinic also successfully remove broken instruments from tooth canals after previous unsuccessful treatments.
